Etching Tattoos may cause Hepatitis-C

Have you ever thought that if proper care is not taken during tattooing, it can lead you in a serious health crisis?

Re-used or unhygienic needles used during tattooing may transfer Hepatitis-C Virus (HCV) in a healthy person’ body.

Hepatitis-C is one of the viruses that affect liver. As time passes (usually decades), it develops in to Cirrhosis (a terminal disease) or into Liver Cancer too.

HCV is spread primarily through blood. If the equipment used by the tattoo artist is infected from HCV then it will be transferred to the healthy person who is getting the tattoo etched.

So be aware and alert to use properly sterilized tattooing equipment while etching a tattoo.
